Hi Ivo,
I have made soy milk yogurt today with added agar-agar, the result is amazing, nice and thick.
Thank you so much for pointing out the guide, I wouldn’t have seen it if not.
I’ve been using Bacillus Bulgaricus for a few years now!
Best wishes,
Nicki.

Hello, I purchased your yogurt starter on amazon.com. I successfully used it to make a very good, thick yogurt using cow’s milk

It helps so much with my digestion and health! My gynecologist recommends it to prevent
infections and it works well for me.
Also, if you have a specific recipe for using store-bought almond milk to make yogurt, I would
love to see it.
Thank you!

IT CAME OUT FANTASTIC……….THANK YOU

When I made this yogurt, I recognized the taste immediately: it tasted “classic,” just like yogurt I had enjoyed at a hotel while traveling in Canada, and was pleasantly creamy. I have not had yogurt like this in the U.S. before. There are just a few flavor notes, pleasantly tart and also savory. It cultured successfully a second time without a hitch.
The only thing I would fault is the packaging–it’s hard to scoop out of the bulk envelope it ships in.

Hi Ivo,
We eat yogurt for breakfast nearly every day, usually with granola or in a fruit smoothie.
Sometimes we make frozen yogurt for a special dessert treat in the summer.
I don’t typically buy yogurt as I’ve been making my own for years. However, it is difficult to find yogurt starter right now for some reason. Perhaps it’s related to the global pandemic? I
usually save a cup of yogurt to use as a starter for the next batch, but my strain was getting old and weak, and my last batch failed to set up. So I went to the supermarket to try to locate a cup of plain, organic yogurt with live cultures, and had difficulty finding one among the dozens and dozens of yogurts with artificial flavors and colors and other additives. I finally located one plain yogurt that said it had live cultures, and it worked to save my failed batch, but the result wasn’t as good as I typically get.
Many of our small local health food stores are closed right now due to the pandemic. I tried searching online for yogurt starter, and many online retailers are sold out as well. I happened upon your site by accident, but I am very interested in trying your starter. I love the fact that you sell it in bulk. It will be great to have a supply on hand in the freezer for the next time my strain fails.
Thank you for promoting homemade yogurt free from additives and preservatives! We need to reduce processed foods in our diet.
Have a great day. I hope you are staying safe and well.

Hi Ivo,
I am filmjolk. I like all milk products including yogurt. Unfortunately yogurt in the USA but recently even in Bulgaria is far away from yogurt I remember from my childhood 40, 60 years ago.
I decided to make my own yogurt at home to see whether the taste will attract me and make me a fen of a starter. For now I am a little skeptic about my success because the milk here I buy from stores is not as fresh and natural as from the dairy farms. This is only the beginning
Wish you the best!
