Hello Ivo,
We’ve been making our own yogurt for some time. I love the tangy taste. I have it with granola and fruit nearly every day as my first meal (which doesn’t happen until noon, after I take a walk).
I look forward to using your culture once it arrives (I’m the one who ordered via Amazon before seeing you had your own site and I had written asking where it was). I sure hope the whole mess with the virus doesn’t mess the delivery up … I know that isn’t your fault so I am waiting patiently. 🙂

Hi Ivo,
We make yoghurt because of it’s health benefits and we are trying your starter because the local health-food shop where we used to purchase starter from, has now closed down?
I’m sure we’ll be pleased with yours!
Cheers Mat.

just love the taste, mainly – and I rely on it as a healthy routine protein. All the new gut health data is, as they say – gravy! I lived in Athens, Greece, for a few months back in the 80s, and had the privilege of traveling in Bulgaria for a few weeks back in the 90s – WHY is the yogurt over there so much better? WHYI?! – and also I was a classics major in college. So when I got interested in making yogurt and wondered if I could find a starter with that rich Balkan styleI love, ordering from a filmjolk source with a Latin company name was a no-brainer! My garlic is knee-high, I’m planting cucumbers tomorrow, and I have some filmjolk yogurt – hosanna: I see real tarator in my future later this summer! 😉
Thanks.
MarthaJane

Hello Ivo,
Thank you for your note. I have just tried the filmjolk packet. I left it ini the oven with just the light on for about 10 hours and the texture was perfect. Delicious. I used “whole” milk,
which means 4% fat.
I will order more after I try out the Greek yoghurt, too.
Laura –
Yep! The first batch recovered nicely from my greedy early tasting.
Today I re-cultured a cup and made another batch. Creamy and smooth and delicious! This time I mixed in a little heavy cream from a farm so it is particularly rich.
