The yogurt turned out well. I am the only one in a household of two who regularly eats yogurt (for breakfast with honey, blueberries and granola). Consequently, I make a batch with ½ gallon of milk about every 6 days. I save about a half cup of the whey in the refrigerator, and use ¼ cup as starter for the next batch.
Bacillus Bulgaricus is the second heirloom starter that I have tried. The first was from Cultures for Health. I think I like the taste of your product better.
I use a Ninja 8 qt cooker, which seems to work well.

I am a senior living on SNAP benefits, I get more bang for my buck when I make my own yogurt for gut health. I usually make a half gallon a week and enjoy on cereal with fruit or stand alone with a little sweetener. I prefer the Greek style.

We placed an order with you about 3 weeks ago, #20210926103331. I’m making my first batch of the Greek yogurt as I write this.
I’m the only yogurt eater in the house, and I make a gallon at a time.

Hi there,
I got the Greek yogurt starter, since I’d read that it’s an heirloom one and can be made over and over again so long as you save a little bit of the last batch.
So far so good! I made the 3rd generation the other day, tastes great. I got the Bulgarian starter as well to try out in case something happens to the Greek yogurt but haven’t made it yet.
Would recommend to a friend!
Thanks heaps for such an affordable, quality starter,
Karla.
