I like yogurt, usually Greek but am familiar with Bulgarian yogurt through the Edgar Cayce readings.
Truthfully , I thought he was always referring to butter milk all these years.
He’s known as the Sleeping prophet and did many health and life readings in the the 1920’s to the 1940’s . He mentioned more than once that the Bulgarian yogurt was generally best. His aim was to help in a general way dietary way for some people :other times his readings were for very ill people.
I want to try real Bulgarian yoghurt !

Hi,
I’ve been very sick lately and after much testing, my doctor asked me to try eating no dairy! It worked after a couple months of searching.
So now I am able to make Bulgarian Yogurt with almond milk
I love it so much

Hi, I loved the yogurt I put the whole sachet in for just under two litres. It was thick and smooth. I used gold top milk and consequently I had a layer of cream on top of each of my 7
individual yogurt pots. I wasn’t expecting that. Perhaps I should use regular homogenised blue top milk. I also like soya milk so would like some advice about what culture to use. Can I put honey into the yogurt mix before fermentation. I will certainly buy again

hi ivo,
glad to tell you that the yogurt i made came out very good! i was surprised to see how such a tiny amount of starter was sufficient for 2 liters of milk. thanks a lot.

Hi Ivo,
As someone who grew up in Bulgaria, yogurt is staple food for me. My family used every occasion they had to get hold of fresh milk and make yogurt at home, so I knew the basics and enjoyed it. I love to make my food and know what exactly it contains.
I found you some time ago thanks to an Australian dairy company (Mungaly Creek) with whom I spoke on the phone about the taste and texture of yogurt here. They told me they are purchasing kefir starter from you and gave me the details.
Cheers,
