Karen –
Hi Ivo,
I started with the Greek Yogurt starter. Very good.
The next batch, I used the balka starter. Amazing!!!!! I used organic whole milk and 250ml organic 18% cream. It is so delicious.
Thanks for the gift – I wondered how you stayed in business if I could just use a jar of yogurt from the last batch to start the next, but life happens and that doesn’t always work lol. So I was planning to order more.
I have a yogurt maker and the process is very simple. I bought more jars and I tried making frozen yogurt. It is hard and crystally so any advice on that is welcome.
I have some mangos and I think my next batch (i.e. tonights!) will include some jars with mango in and I might add a bit of honey as well to see how that goes. I made strawberry, blueberry and rhubarb compotes to add in my yogurt. As fruit comes into season I will continue to make compotes to flavour the yogurt.
Best,
Karen
Ina –
Because it’s cheap to make and even more excited about getting Creek yoghurt now.
Scott –
I tried it originally because of the ratings and the ingredients of the products. After trying the Greek yogurt, which we loved, we wanted to try some of the others.
Thank you,
Scott
Marty –
I just happen to love yogurt, especially greek style yogurt. I didn’t know that it originated in Bulgaria! Were they making it in the time of King Krum? I am very well read in the histories and read about Byzantium and the Bulgars. That excites me even more. I also love Bulgarian Sheep’s Milk Feta Cheese – my absolute favorite Feta. I used to by it at an Arab store in a tin with brine. The old Arab lady there clued me into how good it was… She was right! I’m making my third batch of yogurt right now. Next batch I will try to use some of what I get here as a starter. I only make a quart at a time. Both myself (I am 66 and of Norwegian descent) and my 90 year old Momma love your yogurt, haven’t even drained it yet (though we
will) and it’s lovely thick and tangy!!!
Thanks,
Marty

Hi Ivo
I spend several months in the Philippines and the quality and price of yoghurt is overpriced and underwhelming so l intend to make my own Greek yoghurt.

Heather B. –
I like the health benefits of yogurt in addition to enjoying the taste of yogurt – especially Greek yogurt. Yogurt is my summer go to” breakfast with berries and granola because it’s light and delicious. I also use it in place of mayonnaise in many recipes.
Thank you,
