I have started looking at probiotics as I have recently been put on a drug to help with sugar control and it can give side effects that might be helped by better digestion management. While looking at starting with Kefir as I realize now that the stuff on the Eastern European shelves is not as good as homemade and as with all these commercial products they are sterile and over-processed.I am looking for the ‘real thing’. While teaching in Sweden I came across a stringy yogurt but had forgotten the name and now thought it was Viili, this was the late Seventies, and my students swapped blotting paper bacillus strains all over Scandinavia and thought it would be fun to experiment. On a Google search for ‘Viili starter suppliers’, I came upon your site and found a product called Filmjolk, this was the very stuff I got in Sweden.
Another thing is that you do a Kefir that is not grains, this would be interesting to explore. So to cut a long story short, you did ask! I have arrived at your place.
And you ship to us Brits, what is not what to like.

as a teen I loved kefir, specially the Soviet one 😉
Later I developed lactose intolerance.
I just retired opposite to a diary farm in the Swiss prealps. I draw raw milk from their 5000l tank into water bottles, then make yoghurt w/o cooking:
I micro-wave to ~35°C, than let it set for ~8hrs in well insulated cabinet.
Very fresh taste, much easier to digest than packaged yoghurt, all lactose seems gone.
With your starters I hope to get different tiny guys to work for me..

I wanted to personally review your peoducts in an email.
Right know i cant afford starters and I have some of your starters left yet in the freeze. I love all of your starters and will buy more as soon as I am able to and need some culturing probiotics. 🙂 I actually use your kefir starter the most. I have lot been able to have dairy for some time now because of leaky gut and other allergies, hencw why I have not bought more yet.
But your starters are awsome and delicious! ?? And suberb quality as always.
I will buy more when my gut clears up.

I am very happy to find your company through a health conscious friend. I have visited Bulgaria and loved the yogurt at our hotel every morning. It was wonderful! I have been making my own yogurt but using store bought yogurt for my starter. I just made my first batch with your powder and what a difference!!
