Hi Ivo, your yoghurt tastes really good, i like it a lot. What kind of milk and duration would you suggest? Is milk with 3,8% fat ok? Is there a difference between cooking the milk by myself or use homogenized, ultra high heated milk?
I tried 9 and 10 hours in a electrical yoghurt maker, gives a longer duration a more sour yoghurt?
Im not sure if eating yoghurt has any effect on my health, or on the ulcerative colitis, but i like it a lot and it will be part of my daily breakfast 🙂

The company, and myself, enjoy Bulgarian sirene for its probiotics. Mainly because it’s very important for female health when on antibiotics and/or have signs of infections. It’s great for the skin and has healing properties you can’t find in other sirenes.

Thanks for the email. My son is a regular customer of yours so I’m sure I will like the starter. What remains to be seen is whether I stick with making my own sirene. I hope I do for many reasons, but if not, my son is good about sharing with me.
My kids were raised on my homemade sirene so it’s been in our family for decades, but it’s also been a long time since I made it myself! I’m excited about trying the kefir too.
