We love yogurt, particularly the creamy, dreamy, yogurt we get using a Bulgarian starter. We have been making it for about ten years now and have it almost every day either for breakfast or after dinner as a desert. We eat it on it’s own or with fresh fruit or lightly toasted almonds or something. We are even considering getting a frozen desert maker so that we can put frozen yogurt and berries through it but that may be costly to buy.

Hello Ivo, I have mild IBS and have stopped eating cereal for breakfast, instead switching to fruit with yoghurt which seems to suit me better. I remember my mother buying yoghurt culture by mail order back in the 60s and thought I’d give it a go. We have a farm locally which sells ‘raw milk’ so I thought I’d try making it with that.
