we are in the process of trying to find a small place to call home.. With prices at they are it’s taking alot longer than we thought so we are holled up in a small caravan, working full time, I still have all your starters in the small van freezer and sourdough in the fridge. I have been making one of your Yoghurts though and it is still going.

My kids are intolerant to dairy protein and have a shocking immune system. Our health practitioner suggested trying to introduce some dairy back in, so fingers crossed they can tolerate some yoghurt or sour cream made with your starter!

In going to make more yogurt today, I was looking on the internet to see the amount of starter people used in making their own yogurt and found different answers, different starter methods and ran across your Bacillus starter. I have tried a dry starter before and wasn’t to happy with the results. Seeing the reviews on your product intrigues me as well as the other cultures for cream cheese, sour cream has me wanting to try your products. So, now to decide which to order first, yogurt, cream cheese, sour cream. All three or just one to start.

Ivo, I dream of one day finding a starter yoghurt to match one we had in the late `70`s! No idea where I found it but I think it came from the Balcans, or somewhere in that neck of the
woods. The taste was gentle rather than tart and it had a distinctive pink hue. Generally I`m not mad about yoghurt but occasionally in France I come across one (commercial carton) that has a similar taste, again more bland than tart with a slightly granular texture to it, which I prefer to a slimy consistency. Good luck with your endeavors.
