Starter is working great. Will need to buy some more starter soon since I don’t bother keeping some yogurt to restart again.

Hi,
I purchased the 8 gallon envelope thru Amazon. I made my first batch yesterday and tried it for the first time this morning. It smells wonderful and tastes good. I did follow your instructions to the letter. I used a digital cooking thermometer to determine milk temperature. I live in south Florida, wrapped it in towels, and put it in a insulated container, so it didn’t get cold. I used pasteurized, storebrand whole milk. (It was the only brand that was not ultra-pasteurized.) I will try my next batch using half and half, as suggested in your FAQ.
Many thanks,
Theodore Kowal

I love it. Do you produce yogurt powder capsule?

Hi there! I activated my culture last night. It worked beautifully. I previously used Cultures for Health Bulgarian, it took 3 batches for that to establish! Wasn’t impressed with theirs

I love the yogurt because it is amazingly versatile. You can eat it with some sugar as a dessert, or with cereal as breakfast, or add some vegetables and spices and make a delicious salty dressing for all kinds of food. I have always been an occasional yogurt maker, but recently found out that I’m susceptible to almost all fresh dairy products, so I wanted to try and make yogurt from vegetable milks and added sugar.
