It works out well actually after The 4 hours So total 9 hours to set for me.
From now onwards I will perpetuate the yogurt from the set yogurt instead of the starter.
I normally will not Heat the milk since I’m using pasteurisé milk. So I will just stir some yogurt into milk and ferment.

My husband and I both like to eat yogurt, but I also make cheeses and dips and all kinds of delicious things from it. I am going to make some deliciousness with your Sirene cheese next time I make some: Dip cubes into egg wash, then flour, then egg wash again, then sesame seeds. Deep fry quickly. Warm 4 tbsp of honey in a pan and drizzle over the sesame coated cheese to serve.
We really liked the rose yogurt too, but the Greek is our fave!

Hello Ivo; we are very pleased with the yogurt we have been making with our new culture.both the tast and texture are excellent ,and the biggest bonus is tha instead of buying a new container of starter yogurt every second batch,we are now on our fourth batch from the same original starter from you. I have always liked to eat yoghurt and about six months ago I decided to make my own “healthy” yoghurt.
When I looked around to buy my first starter culture I originally wanted to try your products but I thought they were only available in the USA so I bought some culture from a supplier here in the UK.
My mistake!

? Everything is fine. The yogurt is coming out great. I thought I had an issue with my raw milk supplier, so the yogurt was coming out grainy. What the issue was, I needed to put in small jars, then warm water to cover of jars in instapot, 3 1/2 hours, then 3 hours ‘cooling’ on the counter, frig until eating. Comes out jelled, super creamy, with fermented ‘butter’ on top that can be removed or mixed into yogurt.
We are very happy, and probably getting snobby about our yummy yogurt.

This was my second time purchasing your product. I may have first bought it through Amazon, sometime last spring. I’ve been making yogurt with your culture since May this year, and I am very happy with the results. I process a batch of two quart sized mason jars every six or seven days for two consumers. It is easy and not terribly time consuming once one has done it a few times. The product is superior to anything that I can buy in a store, which makes it worth the effort. I intend to continue making my own, and expect that I will be buying again some time in the future. Best wishes, and thanks for providing such an excellent starter.

Wanted to make my own yogurt because have just had a really bad flare up of irritable bowel.

The live bacteria are so healthy for your gut and I believe that store bought ready yogurt dont have all the live bacterias compares to when you make it youself with the bacteria sachets. I choose to order from you as you can make your yogurt without a yogurt maker.

I’ve been using Bacillus Bulgaricus for over a year and am very please with the taste and texture of yogurt it produces. I use 1/4 teaspoon with one quart milk. I heat the milk to 110 degrees and stir in the starter. No need to heat it higher if you are using pasteurized milk (do heat according to directions if you use raw milk). Then I put the yogurt in a cooler with warm water, cover and in about 6 hours have thick smooth tasty yogurt. My first starter was given to me by a friend and I’ve recommended it to others, who are also pleased. Thank you!

The reason is simple, I am Bulgarian and we eat plain yogurt. However, in Canada it is very rare to find plain yogurt that comes close to real yougort. In short, that’s why I decided to start preparing it at home using a yogurt maker. We eat a lot.
