Hello Ivo,
I got the Greek Yogurt starter, the Bulgarian starter, and the Bulgarian Rose starter. I have had a chance to try each of them, and I am pleased with how they turned out. they taste great and we love the texture.
Best,
Diane

Hi Ivo,
the yogurt is great!
The first batch got me a bit worried because it took about 13 hours to set. Perhaps I didn’t put enough of the bacteria?
Second time around it worked out perfectly, though.
Last night I finished a 3rd batch, this time using some of the previous yogurt. It feels a bit more sour this way, but I like it. I was actually expecting it to be more sour the first time around.
I guess the sourness has something to do with how old it is?
The previous yogurt was in the fridge for about a week before I used it to make the new one.
I am also thinking of experimenting with non-dairy milks. Curious how that turns out.
Kind regards,
Atanas

Hi Ivo,
I purchased both the Bulgarian yogurt and Greek yogurt.
My favorite is definitely the Bulgarian, which I made into a vanilla flavored yogurt in my Instant Pot using the cold start method with Fairlife Ultra Pasteurized Milk, half a can of sweetened condensed milk, and a little vanilla. It was so easy to do and is absolutely fabulous and I’ll continue to make it myself instead of buying any other yogurt at the store.
I wasn’t as enamored with the Greek yogurt, however. I used the same cold start method with the Fairlife milk, but did not sweeten or otherwise flavor it. The texture ended up more like
honey, dripping off the spoon instead of being a thick texture. Even after straining it, it’s the same gooey, honey-like consistency. I think perhaps some people would really like this, but I just found it a little odd.
I think I’ll try making plain yogurt with the regular Bulgarian starter, as the texture of that was much more what I expected. I also have a packet of the rose starter, which I’m eager to try.
But I’m definitely sold on the Bulgarian and will definitely order some more!

Hi Ivo,
Everything was fine! And I have been making delicious yogurt since. I have found that I can I need to start a new batch about every month (starts to get more watery and sour), so, I have made it last. But, I am getting ready to order. This is just the best – not going back to store bought….
I will take you up on the offer of 10% off – and, please know, you have a committed follower/consumer in me!
Thank you,
Karin

Hi Ivo! I am really excited to try your product. I started making my own yogourt because it’s a really good childhood memory. My godmother use to make her own yogourt and I just loved it. So far I have tried starting my own yogourt with a store bought plain yogourt (I have a yogourt maker). I have been having a hard time with the texture, it always ends up “grainy” and “liquidy”. I found your product on Amazon. I was surprise to see that my package was mailed in Edmonton ( I live in northern Alberta). That’s why I looked up your website and signed up. I want to learn everything I need to know in order to make really good yogourt.
I have a question, on your website, you mention a free book with purchase. I bought my starter on Amazon.
Can I still have the book?
Thank you!
Jacynthe

The yogurt is DELICIOUS! So much better than the Yogourmet starter I have been using for years. THICK, creamy, delicious.

Hi. I love the starter! I love the taste and it makes up well. In particular, I love that it doesn’t have acidophilus (the reason for my order), as that tends to be challenging for those, like me, with small intestine issues. This works great and I’m very happy with it
Thank you,
Tammy

Hi Ivo,
Everything is fine. I always buy your starters for my daughter. She loves the yogurts, I do also.
In the last purchase, I ordered a Greek yogurt starter as well. FANTASTIC!
I will definitely repeat.
Have a good day,
Miguel C.
