Hi Ivo,
I’ve been making Bulgarian yogurt once a week for almost 2 years. I use an Instapot.
Last batch I was in a hurry and forgot to save some for reculture, and I didn’t even realize it until I went to make a new batch. Previously I purchased starter from Cultures for Health. I лove the flavor of Bulgarian yogurt, and haven’t bought yogurt in the store since making my own. My best batches come from the milk I get from a local dairy farm which is pasteurized but not ultra pasteurized. But I have had success with all milk, even the ultra pasteurized I’ve used as long as it’s whole milk. I do strain my yogurt a bit with a nut bag for about 15 minutes
to remove some of the whey. I find it improves the texture.
I’m looking forward to my starter culture so I can get back to yogurt making 🙂
To answer your question: My number one reason for making yogurt is the health benefit. I have autoimmune disease that affects my digestive system and the yogurt helps to keep my gut populated with beneficial bacteria. I try to limit my dairy, but I make the exception with yogurt. My favorite way to eat it is with a little honey and toasted almonds!
Have a great weekend,
Melissa

Hi Ivo!
I enjoy the taste and health benefits of natural yogurt, and prefer to make my own for the cost savings and reducing the amount of plastic we bring in to the house. I chose to buy your culture because I can keep using it to make more rather than having to buy cultures each time.
I’ve recently purchased your caspian sea yogurt through another vendor, but my husband doesn’t like the taste so am giving this one a go instead.
Thanks,
Jess

Hi Ivo,
I looooooove yogurt. I usually buy plain organic yogurt, and either eat it that way, or, add blueberries, walnuts, flaxseed, etc. It is one of my staples.
I’ve long wanted to learn to make my own. I found your product while searching Amazon, but I like to buy directly from the maker when I can. The Amazon reviews had lots of enthusiasm for your product, so I decided to go with it for my first adventure!
I can’t wait to start. I’m sure there will be a learning curve, but I’m so interested in getting to more selfsufficiency instead of repeatedly buying one plastic container after another at the store.
Thanks for your products!!
Joan

Hallo,
bei mir ist alles ok. Bin sehr zufrieden.
Iris

Hi Ivo,
The reason I am planning to make yoghurt is purely health reason. I read about how good bacterias were discovered in the beginning of the 19th century and how famously long Bulgarians lived so I thought this could be a better solution than vitamins and supplements.
Best wishes,
Anita
Peter –
I buy your yogurt starter from time to time.
The same batch will be good for many cooks.
