Dear Ivo:
After graduating from the University, my first job was to be the Sales Director of a family owned Yogurt manufacturer in my country of origin, Venezuela. The brand of yogurt was Kremil’s Farm and it was of excellent quality and flavor, but the owners never shared their formula, and I had that desire to one day do the same. And this is when I’m going to try to make a yogurt as good as that. I remember that they used skimmed milk powder and had a large room that was an oven that they kept warm with a steam boiler.
Best Regards
Guillermo L

Hello,
The B. Bulgaricus works very well thank you.
I’m making 2 litres of yoghurt at a time so froze the unneeded culture.
I have to make lactose free yogurt, but put in a bit of regular skim milk powder to aid in the process, so my yogurt is very runny but that’s ok as it’s used mostly for smoothies.
All in all it’s working very well for me.
Thank you,
Meryl Z.

Thank you Ivo.
Invested in a jewellery scale, and ph meter and looking forward to using your cultures.
I’ll try the kefir, maybe I’ll like it….
P.S.
Your Bulgarian culture makes the best yogurt I have had in years.

Hi Bacillus,
We buy yogurt for a breakfast option, love yogurt, plain mixed with pineapple and chia seeds.
Now want to make my own so I can control the ingredients and have clean healthy option.
We also love frozen yogurt so I will able to make healthy frozen desserts!
Have a great day,
Eileen H.

We consume yogurt everyday in India and I love the taste of homemade yogurt, which I miss in store bought yogurt tubs here in the U.S. I have had great succes with your starter and it has the right amount of taste and texture.!! I make batch after batch by saving culture from previous batches…

I’ve tried a few other strains with varying results, but want one which is consistent and good for the kids.
Thanks for the book, and best wishes, Ewen.

thank you. All yoghurt I have made so far is delicious.

Hello Ivo,
My husband and I love yogurt and we want to consume organic yogurt – not always available. Organic whole milk is often easier to find, so I will venture into making my own and see how I can do. Truly, store-bought yogurt is either full of stuff I don’t want to consume, has little or no active culture, is too watery or sweetened. As long as I don’t need to wear milk in a goat skin pouch, I ought to be okay!

Hello,
I used one packet and am still using it as a starter for my yogurt. I make a half gallon at a time a freeze my starter until it’s time to make my next batch which is about two weeks apart. This seems to be working out.

Hallo Ivo,
Vielen Dank.
Mit freundlichem Gruß
Andreas W
