Dear Ivo,
I would like to make my own yogurt, because I have a food intolerance to lactose. So I try to find a row milk type (cow, goat, sheep, camel, horse…) and a yogurt starter that I can digest. I’ve heard that lactobacillus bulgaricus and greek yogurt bacterias are good for the intestinal flora so I will try it.
And my 14-year old daughter is a environmentalist so yogurt making fits into her conviction. Good for mum to collect points 🙂

All is well. I use your product to make 1 gallon of yogurt every 2 or 3 weeks. The key point is that I ‘chain inoculate’ from one yogurt batch to the next. I’ve done this for years.
What prompted me to order new Bacillus Bulgaricus is that some of the raw milk (local organic dairy) was spoiled(?) or contaminated(?) or (?) – it only happened that one time and nobody knows how or what happened. I’m still using milk from this source.
I still have part of the purchased (now frozen) Bacillus Bulgaricus. If my milk source fails again someday, I’ll re-order.

Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with heart disease and it has been suggested that I modify my diet to lessen the further accumulation of plaque in my arteries. Of course, I am devastated since the yogurt I make with your starter is simply the best yogurt I have made in over 50 years.
Maybe one of these days I’ll order again if I decide to abandon my efforts to control my disease.
