Thank you, you are very kind. I am very excited about making yogurt and see you have other products that I would like to try also.

There are too many number ONE reasons why I likes yogurt. Mainly (number ONE) I make yogurt to eat it as a quick lunch.
My family’s background is Syrian. So we also eat yogurt as a snack with dried mint and olive oil, or with tahini, lemon, garlic-sometimes with vegetables. I also preserve yogurt in olive oil after it is drained and made into balls. And we like to use yogurt in some meals where sometimes it is boiled and used in multiple recipes.
Here is a recipe from Homs, Syria, you might like:
Blend together boiled beets, yogurt, crushed garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt and pepper. If you like the deep fried Kibbeh, you can use this blend as a dip to complement the kibbeh.
I like the idea of fermentation, of creating something different, something alive. I made water and milk kefir for a while but they’re a bit time consuming, with all the filtering involved.
But I love yogurt even more 😄
I can’t stand the sweet stuff you buy in the shops anymore, for me it’s all natural, no sugar.
Thank you for giving me the chance to try many new kinds of yogurt at very reasonable prices

I am Finnish, 85 yrs old and have eaten yogurt for years. My grandmother from Finland made it and its been in my family for years. I can not find a starter anymore as all the old folks have passed on.

The yoghurt I make is delicious but a little goes a long way.
I love plain yogurt!
The starter works great; I couldn’t be more pleased. I will order more when needed.

Ivo, we used it and made a batch. It was truly delicious. No bitterness, no sugar needed. Added fresh strawberries to it. We used an Instapot on the yogurt setting.
I am totally grossed out by yogurt that I buy in the store. I just don’t trust all those extra ingredients. We also just started buying raw milk and being from NJ it is next to impossible to buy raw milk anything easily. I don’t mind putting a little hard work into feeding my family well. I also have a child with severe reflux so she needs all the good bacteria she can get in her gut. You site is very helpful and informative. Can’t wait to try out the new starter. Thank you for all that you’ve done here!
