This delicious and easy-to-make appetizer consists of tomatoes topped with sour cream. It historically comes from an Ukrainian city called Rivne where it is called “Rivne tomatoes”.
Tomatoes (alternatively, you can use fried zucchini or eggplants)
Shredded/grated cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, kashkaval, etc.)
Making the Appetizer
Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on a plate.
Mix the sour cream with pressed garlic.
Spread on the tomatoes.
Decorate with the cheese.
